My purpose for living

For now, I am trying to return to the renewal of my body and mind by reading, writing, communicating with friends and enjoying life. My next project is to help a dear friend who is 94. She is blind almost and said she has no reason to live. Since I am only blind in one eye, I can help her return SOME purpose to life--especially contact with technology (she can hear) and fortunately technology includes audio. She says people just say the same thing over and over, which is often true at Verena. She belongs to Book Club and was a career Sociologist, loves people and is social. I do both--reading and listening-since I can hear, except in a room full of people. My purpose for living is to encourage people and help in any way I can-although it must be more mental than physical now.
